Overview
Rukusi is a camera application for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses, what it does and does not collect, and how your data is handled.
Rukusi is developed by an independent developer. No organization, advertising network, or third-party company is involved in its development or operation.
The short version: Rukusi has no servers. Nothing you capture is transmitted anywhere. No account is required. No personal data is collected.
What We Collect
Rukusi collects anonymized usage statistics via CloudKit — Apple's cloud infrastructure — so the developer can understand how the app is used in general. This data is not linked to your identity in any way.

CloudKit is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms of Service. Data stored in CloudKit cannot be used to identify you personally. No name, Apple ID, or device identifier is recorded.
What We Do Not Collect
Rukusi does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following — ever.

Analytics
Rukusi collects anonymized usage statistics via CloudKit to help the developer understand how the app is used. No third-party analytics SDKs (e.g. Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude) are used.
Additionally, Apple provides aggregate App Store analytics such as total download counts and page impressions, governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. Rukusi does not process payment information and does not receive your financial details. All billing is governed by your Apple ID and Apple's terms of service.
Children's Privacy
Rukusi does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected, Rukusi is inherently compliant with COPPA and similar regulations.
Data Retention
Anonymized usage statistics are stored in CloudKit and retained for as long as necessary for development purposes. No personal data is attached to this data. Photos and videos captured with Rukusi are stored locally on your device and subject to your own device and iCloud settings.
Third Parties
Rukusi does not share any data with third parties. The app does not integrate any advertising SDKs, social login providers, or external data brokers.
Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy changes materially, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
